Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme: The Government of Telangana has introduced the Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme to help financially constrained parents to host their daughters’ weddings. The initiative will specifically focus on parents belonging to her SC, ST, BC and EBC communities and will provide financial assistance of up to Rs 100,000 to parents who are suffering from financial difficulties.
If you are a woman about to get married and a permanent resident of Telangana State, you are eligible to avail the benefits of Telangana State Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme 2024. The aim of the program is to provide tailored financial assistance to women from SC, ST, BC and EBC communities so that they can start married life without putting financial burden on their parents.
The scheme initially offered benefits starting from ₹50,000, which was gradually increased to ₹10000 over the years. In a recent development, the Telangana government has announced its intention to provide monetary assistance to the girl’s family in addition to the existing Rs 100,000. However, this has not yet been officially confirmed.
Important Note:
If you fall under SC, ST, BC or EBC category, you must opt for Kalyana Lakshmi Program or Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam. On the other hand, if you belong to a minority, regardless of your caste, you should apply for the Shaadi Mubarak program or avail the services of Shaadi Mubarak.

Benefits of Telangana Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme 2024:
Government has provided Rs 100,000 to eligible beneficiaries to help with marriage related expenses.
This program is specially tailored for girls from her SC, ST, BC and EBC communities in Telangana state.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the program, candidates must meet the following conditions:
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Telangana.
- The applicant must be a woman over the age of 18, the groom must be over the age of 21.
- Applicants must belong to SC, ST, BC and EBC categories.
- The applicant’s household income must not exceed 200,000 rupees. The breakdown is as follows.
- SC Income shall not exceed Rs.2,00,000/-.
- ST Income shall not exceed Rs.2,00,000/-.
- BC/EBC Income Considerations: Less than Rs 2,00,000 for urban areas and less than Rs 1,50,000 for rural areas

- Click on ‘Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme/Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam Registration’.
- Application opens. Enter the information and details of the bride and groom.
- Please provide correct information regarding the bride’s income, caste details, permanent address and current address details.
- Please provide accurate bank account details of the bride’s mother. If the bride is an orphan, select orphan bank details.
- Enter the groom’s information and address.
- Fill in all the marriage details and upload the required documents if required.
- Once you have entered all your information, review your application, enter your captcha code, and click Submit to complete your application.
